Dr. Michael Haykin is a fellow of the Ezra Institute for Contemporary Christianity. He is currently the Professor of Church History and Biblical Spirituality at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is also Director of The Andrew Fuller Center for Baptist Studies, located on the campus of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and the editor of Eusebeia: The Bulletin of The Andrew Fuller Center for Baptist Studies.

Dr. J. Ligon Duncan III BA (Furman University), MDiv (Covenant Theological Seminary), PhD (University of Edinburgh), is Senior Minister of First Presbyterian Church, Jackson, Mississippi. Dr. Duncan is president of the Alliance of Confessing Evangelicals, and council member of The Gospel Coalition. He has served as Chairman of the Department of Systematic Theology, and the John R. Richardson Professor of Theology at Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi. His most recent publication is Does Grace Grow Best in Winter? (P&R Publishing, 2009), co-authored with J. Nicholas Reid.

Rev. Joe Boot is the founding pastor of Westminster Chapel in Toronto, a member of the Toronto Gospel Alliance, and founder of the Ezra Institute for Contemporary Christianity. Joe earned his MA at the University of Manchester, in the Theology of Mission. He served with Ravi Zacharias for seven years as an apologist in the U.K. And Canada, working for five years as Canadian Director of RZIM. He is general editor of the Ezra Institute journal, Jubilee, and can be regularly seen on “The Arena,” with Michael Coren, or heard on the John Oakley morning show "Culture Wars." In 2011 Joe was recognized by Toronto's Centre for Mentorship and Theological Reflection as 'Best Preacher Apologist' for his contribution to apologetic and expository preaching.

Dr. Victor Shepherd is Professor of Systematic and Historical Theology at Tyndale University College and Seminary, and Adjunct Professor of Theology at the University of Toronto. At Tyndale Seminary he teaches courses in the history and theology of the sixteenth century Reformation, the theology of Wesley, and the spirituality of the Puritans. Since 2005 he has served as Associate Editor of the Canadian Evangelical Review.

Rev. Deric Bartlett has been serving as Senior Pastor of City Centre Baptist Church in Mississauga since 2007. He has been involved in church ministry for over 25 years, in areas of executive leadership, teaching at the Bible college level, planting churches and leading churches. Deric is a passionate communicator of God’s Word committed to helping believers grow to maturity in Christ.

Rev. Paul W. Martin is the founding pastor of Grace Fellowship Church in Toronto. He holds a B.A. in Biblical Studies from The Master's College and an M.Div. from The Master's Seminary, both of Los Angeles, California. Paul and his wife, Susan, live with their four children in Toronto and have dedicated their lives to the furtherance of the Gospel in their beloved city.

Rev. Kirk Wellum, B.A. (University of Waterloo), B.Th. (Tyndale University College and Seminary), M.Div. (Toronto Baptist Seminary) is Principal of Toronto Baptist Seminary where he lectures in Biblical studies, as well as Pastoral and Systematic Theology.

barker

Dr. Dave Barker has been teaching at Heritage College since 1978, in the areas of Old Testament and Pastoral Studies. Along the way he has been involved in several pastorates, and is presently a part-time Associate Pastor at Benton Street Baptist Church in Toronto. David is passionate about preaching and teaching both the Old and New Testaments, but has found special nurture for kingdom life in the Psalms and Wisdom Books in particular. He is married to Lorraine, and they have five married children and 6 granddaughters.
