Much of our lives are spent trying to find something to do with the time we tried to save.

We cannot have some romantic message of peace and goodwill by isolating the story of Christ’s birth from the rest of God’s message to us.

The world seeks to hunt down those who stand up for righteousness and justice for the sake of Jesus.

The atonement of Christ has power to bring peace to every aspect of God’s world.

Purity in any form apart from the blood of Christ is a myth.

The people who know their God shall be strong and do exploits.

Mercy is based on our obligation to God and others; mercy is not humanistic in its orientation, it’s not man-centred.

Biblically, righteousness is conformity to God’s norms.

The Meek are the strong in the Lord, broken by God to be harnessed for God’s use. Meekness is the opposite of unbridled anger.

A truly repentant man will not only mourn for his own sin, but also the condition of the world around him.

Sin is deceitful, offering us many ways to make us happy, but ultimately all but Christ's offer of blessed life leads to misery and death.

To be blessed is to be satisfied as God is satisfied.
