John was a man sent from God as a purposeful gift. He was filled with the Holy Spirit from his birth.

We may serve the Lord with confidence despite suffering because Jesus reigns victorious over the created order and all spiritual powers.

Honouring Christ the Lord as holy in your heart entails loving good, shunning evil, speaking with gentleness, and fearing the our commander-Lord in prayerfulness.

In the joyful reciprocity within Christian marriage, the beauty and power of the gospel is made manifest to the world.

Our suffering, which we often can't explain, is meaningful precisely because suffering for righteousness is clearly meaningful to God's purposes.
