The Transforming Power of the Gospel

At Christmas we remember, celebrate, commemorate and proclaim the birth of the Christ child, the savior and deliverer of the world. Our creator has become our brother.

If we will turn in love to Christ, we can have peace: peace within, peace with God, and His indwelling power to make peace with others.

Jesus establishes a spiritual kingdom and commands His servants to transact business until He returns. Faithful servants are rewarded with a kingdom, and the wicked with total destruction. His royalty is expressed when Jesus exercises eminent domain, the prerogative of a king, in taking the colt to ride on. In Psalm 72:8, Jesus' kingdom extends over the nations, "from sea to sea." Christ demands complete sovereignty over our lives.

Our culture is turning to man-centred solutions for the problems of sin and death. However, Jesus alone conquered death, by dealing with the sin problem.
