The death of Saul completes the contrast in his and David's relationship with God as men and as leaders of their people. In the strength of God David finds deliverance but in his own strength Saul finds demise.

As we engage the evil spiritual forces of this age, we work tegether as representatives of Christ the King relying on the Sword of the Spirit and prayer.

Know your heart and recognize the sin in it. God's grace reaches to the depths of our weakness and affords us a way of escape.
